THURS., DECEMBER 21, 1933 THE HAILEYBURIAN Cobalt Juniors Take Game Here With 7-5 Score Haileybury Junior Squad Mainly of Juvenile Age, but Show Promise of Making Smart Team Cobalt Juniors broke the win column Tuesday night when they took a 7-5 decision the Haileybury boys, after a tidy tussle. Then Tom Jackson got the flukey one, followed | two minutes later by Clark to make 'it 5-2 for Cobalt. Moriarity and Peacock combined just before the bell to cut into Cobalt's lead. In the final frame Hughes further reduced the gap on a nice goal, and Haileybury swarmed in for some min- utes, making it hot for the visiting lads. Clarke broke away and made it 6-4, and play alternatedfrom end to end for several before Hughes whipped for Haileybury. Clark ended it with a goal.from close. in, with but a couple of minutes togo and though the home youngsters tried hard they could not get a break, both being robbed on Holland's pass, minutes another in Derraugh and Sullivan when right through.
