THURS., OCTOBER 9th, 1941 This view of the British submarine Pandora, showing its conning tower and gun, was taken at the Portsmouth, N.H., navy yard. The officer is Lieut. Robert Alexander, skipper of the Pandora. The sub is one of the many British vessels of war that have been sent to Ameri- can shipyards for general overhauling and repair.
