THURSDAY, .AUGUST. 23, 1945 THE HAILEYBURIAN --o Page Three Community Active Service List Believed to be Now Complete Names Added Since Last Publication Should Bring the Corrected Honor Roll of All Men and Women Who Served Country During War Years; Utmost Care Has Been Taken With victory over Japan now an accomplished fact, and V-J Day already gone by, The Hailey- burian is again publishing a list of men and women from the com- munity who took an active part in the greatest war in history. This Honor Roll, published from time to time during the war years, has been corrected and brought up to date to the best oi our knowledge. There have been several additions made since the last publication, when readers have called our attention to them, and the utmost care has been taken to see that no one from the community has been omitted. It is saddening to realize that there are many names of those who will not return. To the fa- milies and relatives of these goes the sympathy of the community To those who have already re- turned a sincere welcome is ex- tended, while to others who are still serving go the good wishes of those who have remained at home. It is hoped that the Honor Roll thus put on record will in future years be of service to the community and its compilation has been carried out with the best of intentions and an honest endeavor to make it complete and i correct.
