Cyril Goodier, and Mrs. Goodier. Mr. and Mrs. Goodier-came to Hailey- bury from Sturgeon Falls at the beginning of the month and have taken up residence at the rectory. They lived some years ago at Kirkland Lake, later going to the more southern parts of the dio- cese of Algoma, and the recep- tion tonight is designed to give the congregation an opportunity of becoming acquainted with them. CYR Funeral Servicers held in the Roman Catholic church at Nerth Co- balt yesterday morning for the lai Albert St. Cyr, who had lived in tha community for the past 37 years. Mr St. Cyr died on Monday morning ac his home there after a brief illness He was in his 72nd year. Sesides his widow, he is survived by a family of six sons and two daugh- ters, all married and with their homes in varous places in the district. The sympathy of their friends is extended MRS. DUPUIS Friends of Mrs. K. R. Watson join this week in extending their sympathy in her bereavement through the death of her sister, Mrs. Dupuis of North Temiskaming. Mrs. Dupuis died in Haileybury on August 10, after an ill- ness of some weeks, during which she was a patient in the local hospital. funeral was held at North ming on Monday, August 12.
