They were interested when two beauti- fully dressed women in latest style evening dresses came into the dining room, and one was heard to remark to the other one in a very disappointed voice: "I have been here two weeks and haven't seen an Indian yet." They apparently expected to see them dressed in the movie version of paint and feathers. It's too bad to disappoint them and some Temagami residents should wear full regalia, especially dur- ing the summer months, They could pick up some "pin money" posing for pictures for camera enthusiasts, and it's easy work if you can get it. They do it in British Columbia, Nothing to Do? Bored? George Matthew Adams has said: "People who never read a book have imprisoned themselves and need to be let out from their confinement, They will never know the full joy of life until they do." Why not drop into the li- brary and choose a book to suit your mood, There is a wide choice of recent fiction, from light romance to historical novels of present-day and earlier periods Perhaps you have a yen to tra- vel, but circumstances do not permit. With a good travel-book you may range all over the world from Canadian provinces such as "Ontario in Your Car"; "This is New Brunswick", "Mani- toba Roundabout" and others, to a long, interesting journey with Lowell Thomas and his son to Tibet, called "Out of This World". You will thrill to travel with Hey- erdahl and his companions on a primitive raft across the South Seas.
