Crawford has returned home to Kirkland Lake after spending a few days with Mrs. A. George, Mr. and Mrs, Alf. Humphreys Sr., have returned from a vaca- tion trip to Hamilton, Guelph and New Torono. Miss Kathleen Fleming is spending a few weeks in Youngs; town, guests of Dr, and Mrs, Ed- ward Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Hantske and family of Timmins are visiting Mr. and Mrs, Martin Hantske in town this week. Mrs. J. W. Robson and daugh- ter, Jill, have returned after spending a holiday at Glen Ber- nard, Sundridge. Mrs. Tom Cragg was home from Pamour at the week-end to attend the Duff-Fowler wedding in New iLskeard, Earl Marcella and daughter, Gail, of Timmins, visited his sis- ters, Mrs. Jas. Blair and Mrs, J. Renaud last week. Mrs. W. C. Miller and daugh- ter, Joanne, of Kitchener, are visiting Mrs, Miller's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Millar. Mr. and Mrs, Doug. Fred Thompson has returned from a prospecting trip in the Kenora district, promising nickel discovery. St. Paul's W.A. will hold their regular monthly meeting in the parish hall on Tuesday afternoon September 4th at 2.00 o'clock. Lundberg, wore a dress of printed sheer with white accesso- ries and corsage of pink and white baby's breath. Assisting the groom as best man was Emile Carriere. After, the wedding a reception "was held at the home of the bride, with a dance in the Clover Valley school. After a short honeymoon the couple will reside in Cobalt.
