OBITUARY NORMAN MAIDENS The death occurred on Sunday of Norman Maidens in his seven- ty-seventh year. Mr. Maidens who was well know throughout the district was one of the original prospectors of this area and had been a resident here for over forty years. Latter- ly he had made his home in South Lorrain, He is survived by a brother, Mr. George Maidens of South Porcupine and a nephew, Mr. N. Maidens of Kingston. The funeral service was held on Wednesday afternoon with burial] in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. MRS. ERNEST BALL Funral services were held re- cently for Mrs. Ernest Ball who died at her home in North Cobalt Born in Pennsylvania, the former Emily Smith, she was in her 97th year.
