Bonspiel in Feoruary | The Temiskaming and North- ern Ontario Curling Association held its annual meeting in Kirk- land Lake recently and the big- gest news to come out of the gathering was that its annual bonspiel, one the largest in Northern Ontario, would be hel in February in New Liskeard. Originally,the spiel was scheduled for the McIntyre, but with the closing of the Community Build- ing, that idea had to be shelved. However, it is expected that the 1955 games will be played at the Mclntyre. Although, to many, it appeared that there was sufficient time in the next two months to call off the 'spiel were the building still not open, the decision had to come as it would have entailed con- siderable expense to cancel. the spiel at th last minute.
