That what is a parade without a band and such music swinging from our good neighbour, New Liskeard who sent the Lions Bugle Band and Neil McIsaac who didn't send the Highlanders . . . he went to get them in Kirkland with his bus service and after the parade and all day long played host .. boaters and bathers spent the day enjoying a free show of Scottish dances and all the trim- mings and then off to Cobalt in a bus to give a little tune to Cobalt ASR Wellin chaos * * * That we have greetings from far points which came too late to pub- lish before but are none the less warmly received . . . from Mrs. Jos. H. Thomas who writes from Palmet- to Trailer Park, Florida: "'it is with much regret that I am not able to attend the homecoming that Hailey- bury is extending to old timers. . the trip from here is a bit too stren- uous for folks of our age . . through these many years, I have always enjoyed looking back at Haileybury as the best governed town and the most beautifully situated of any in my travels . . .
