Wednesday is a special meeting of Council Thursday we have the little mat- ter of _nomination - night and schoo] commencement... add on sports, church functions, the Ro- tary, the Home and School, the court house, the Hurricane Relief ....just keep adding as hard as you can add...and don't say "Well, if she doesn't like it she can do something else" because she loves it, but would be truly grateful if you could take one minute out to notify this office of any event you would © like published and we will do the rest...and a happy thought ... 98% of the people appreciate this and have given us their whole- hearted support to the extent of reporting and often typing the news out for us themselves.... many thanks, ROR If you have a youngster who has a loose tooth and is squeam- isa about having you or the dentist or anyone, for that mat- ter, touching it, well Freddie Hargrave is open for business ...young Charleen Tessier, dau- ghter of Mrs. Lena Tessier had two little loose teeth that would be better out than in but she wasn't having anyone coming near them ...let alone pull them out ...she went to play with Freddie ... friendship knew no bounds for Freddie simply put his fingers inher mouth and out they came ... a few days later, Charleen had an aching tooth "I will have to go and see Fred- die" she said. Cumming....this is one of the very nicest pre-Christ- mas events that we know of be- cause the ladies of the I.0.D.E. set themselves a high standard a long time ago and have kept it up ever since...we can see last year's produce table and the Christmassy tea table even yet and this year you havea chance on a nice plump turkey.... so remember Saturday. IK That if you are planning to park your car on Broadway south, you are given fair warn- ing to think because you wll geta ticket as sure as can he... little by little, the new regulations passed by Council to improve traffic conditions "in town are coming into effect and if every- one observes them, a lot of long time headaches are going to cease thudding....and on the same theme, your Municipal Police have a job to do.... pro- tecting you and lowering the crime rate...leaving your car unlocked or failing to remove the keys to the ignition are fn open invitation...for this rea- son, the constables have been on the alert to teach you to obey the rules and thereby save you and the police, a lot of unneces- Sary grief...if you find a little note saying your keys are at the court Aouse, enjoy just one minute of exasperation and then see that it doesn't happen again.
