If the Canadian Players are successful in this next venture and we have no reason to think anything else, they plan to re- turn again next year with a presentation in the Haileybury Schools Auditorium. That magic phrase "The Strat- ford Festival" is all that is necessary to assure the company of complete success n_ bringing their fine artistry to the Cana- dian and American people. It is atribute to the ceaseless effort of many and particularly the president Tom Patterson that the response to American book- ingsis so enthusiastic that they do not particularly care "What is the Play?" but only that the Canadian Players are on the way. The group of seven, among them Ann Casson and Douglas Campbell who compose the cast of Saint Joanis made up of ac- tors from Britain, British Col- umba and the United States. All have appeared with 'the Cana- dian Stratford Festival Co. We feel confident that the North Country will be delighted to have the privilege of having Canadian players come to them. Alf.
