------ Page Six THE HAILEYBURIAN THURSDAY, MAY 26th, 1955 With The Civil Service Your executive met in regular business session on Tuesday. May 11th. Correspondence on hand was considered and acted upon. Among the items receiv- ed was the monthly letter from the Association President, Har- old Bowen. On reading this letter, two factors stand out; one of them, that the Association needs you, and, more important, you need the Association. It has been mentioned before-- both in the Branch news letter and the press release that if you are eligible for membership and had been overlooked, to contact Stewart Frew, New Liskeard. This time I am going to be a bit more specific. in the nominal roll for the Branch which is used for mailing out the news letter, I fail to find any from the De- partment of Lands and Forests and from the Department of Mines, both at Elk Lake. Just who is at fault for this state of affairs, | don't know, but if you are interested in your Associa- tion and wish to renew your membership or enroll as a new member, get in touch wth Stewart at once. If your name is in his hands by May 26th, you will be on the mailing list for the next news letter whether your your membership card comes through or not.
