Miss Eleanor Haggart of Sar- nia is visiting with her aunt, Mrs. Charles Fleming: Miss Olive Wilson of Noranda is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. B. L. Shepherd. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fleming, Lake Shore Road left on Wed- nesday for a trip to the Mari- times. Robert Patriquin has accepted a position with the Temiska- ming Construction Limited at Levack, Ont- Mrs. George Lemay has re- turned from a visit with her mother, Mrs: N. Betteridge at Ryde, Isle of Wight. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Chipman of St. John, New Brunswick, are visiting with their son, George Chipman and Mrs. Chipman. Mrs- M. Reich and children, Reg, Kenneth, Phyllis and Linda have left for Eldorado, Saskat- chewan, where they will join Mr. Reich. Mrs. J. Robson left on Tues- day, June 14th for Englehart. Visitors on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Murray were Mr.and Mzz. James Murray of Collingwood and Mr and Mrs. Norman Lowe (nee Dorothy Murray) and son, Ross of Montreal. Mrs. William Barrett ' Enrolls Local Brownies Mrs. William Barrett of New Liskeard, District Commission er of Girl Guides, performed the enrolling ceremony of the Sec- ond Haileybury Brownie Pack on Friday evening in St. Paul's Church parish hail. Tweenies enrolled were Diana Dean, Rosemary Robinson, Joyce Menzies, Mary Hurst, Sheila Thompson, Margaret Menzies, A miniature forest was the settine for the enrollment. The Brownies put on a_ drill, after which Miss Nancy Whitby presented prizes to Anne Olson and Penny Hawkins for the most cookies during cookies 'drive. On behalf of the Brownies, Mrs. William McGaw was _ pre- sented with a gift by Janet Cam- sell, with the address being giv- en by Anne Olson. Mrs. McGaw will be deeply missed in Brownie work 'here, but the best of good wishes go with her and Mr. Mc- Gaw in their new home in Oak- ville. The Brownies served refresh- ments to their parents and friends. A weiner roast is planned for the near future. All Brownies will be notified of the date.
