Cockshutt are in Toronto thisweek guests at the Park Plaza. Mrs. Harold Glassford and two sons, Don and Stewart left Wednesday for Moosenee to make their home as Mr. Glass- ford is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fleming and M.r and Mrs. August John- son motored to Kipling on Thursday last and attended the funeral of Mr. Johnson's sister Miss Hilma Johnson. Two rinks from the local club attended the mixed Bon- spiel held at Temagami last week end with both rinks gett- ing the prizes. A rink skipped by W. Bailey with R. Dinesen vice, V. Dine- sen second and D. Bailey lead won second prize in the first event. B. Patriquin with H. Welsh T. Welsh and R. Patriquin won first prize in the third. OBITUARY MISS HILMA JOHNSON The death occurred on Tues- day January 14th, in Kipling of Miss Hilma Johnson after a chort illness. Funeral service was held on January 16th and burial at Kipl- ing.
