We at Northern Radio In- corporated are proud and pleas- ed to report to the people of this area on the very real progress that we are_ making in setting up our new television stations. As a result of the great deal of support we received from many people in this area, we are con- fident that we can look forward with optimism to a happy future of providing you with the best possible television _entertain- ment. At the present time we have been authorized to transmit 40 per cent English and 60 per cent French programmes. But: we be- lieve that as the area grows and prospers, and the demand for A television grows greater. may well be possible to operate two stations, one for the large French population in the area, and another for the large Eng- lish speaking population. It is with this in view that we have ordered the finest equipment possible, and we are _ planning our entire' organization in the belief that we will grow with the North. We have ordered the finest 50,000 watt equipment, but this is of a type which can he ex- panded to give an output of 100,00 watts if required. Al- though Noranda is in a 25 cycle area, we have made _ special arrangements to receive 60 cycle it! & RG STN » £eRBNan .
