Mrs. Brigadier Bursey, mother of Lieut Bursey, who has been staying in Cobalt for two weekg left on Thursday to return to her home in Toronto. Mr. Dunseith spent the week- end. in Sudbury where -his wife has been with her (parents, since he came to Cobalt, on October 7th, as the new manager of Woolworths Store, Mr. McConnell of the Temp- erance Federation of Toronto, arrived in Cobalt and was the guest of Mr. and Mrs, Neil Mc- Lean. He was on a brief speak- ing tour of Northern Ontario. He spoke in Cobalt on October 26th and 28th, and he preached in the interest of Temperance also on October 27th, at Engle- hart and Charlton. Latimer have lived for 29 years. Mr. and Mrs. Latimer will occupy the downstairs apart- ment at the same address. Mr. and Mrs. Allan P. Orr of Swastika were visitors in town on Monday, Mrs. Stanley Clarke, of Kirk- land Lake, accompanied by Mrs. H. Fennah and her daughter, have been visiting relatives in Cobalt. Scoutmaster Walter Cole, underwent surgery in Sunny- brook hospital Toronto, recently. He expects to be home in one month's time. Mr. and Mrs, W. Adair, Elk Lake, were week-end guests of ervations.
