LEON DAVID Mrs. Leon David passed away in Misericordia Hospi- talon Friday July 25 follow- ing an operation. The former Margaret Pollock, she was bornin Glasgow, Scotland. She was married in 1918 in Glasgow to the late Leon Davida veteran of World War I. Mr. and Mrs. David resi~ ded in Portland Ontario and in the province of Quebec. before taking up residence in Haileybury in 1943. Mrs. David was a faithful member of Haileybury Bap- tist Church, Baptist Ladies' Aid and Baptist Mission Circle. The funeral was held Mon- day afternoon from the * Tulloch Funeral Home con- ducted by Mr. Henry de Vrieg Burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery Haileybury. Predeceased by her hus - band in March 1957 also by 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son Ovid, Toronto. During the service, Mrs. William Davis, accompanied by Mrs. H. DeVries, sang "There is No Night There." Pall-bearers were John Belland, William Davis George Herbert and Walter Stevens.
