Music lovers in the area will have a chance to join the group and hear the ser- ies of top musicians brought to the district during the season. Executive members of the local group have issued an invitation to all persons interested in good mus- ic, and are confident that the en- rollment will top that of other years. Later the department sent out a truck to extinguish the blaze and remove the truck so that traffic stalled on the highway could drive through. Police halted traffic, fear- ing an explosion. The truck, which was totally de- stroyed, is owned by Eugene Chen- ier of Ville Marie. Flames from the truck ignited a nearby pasture, and threatened to start a more serious fire in a tumbledown barn before the fire truck arrived.
