It is the first time that the championship has ever been won by a member of the Haileybury Golf Club. The presentation was made at the closing dinner. Other prizes and trophies pre- sented at the same time. included the Purchase Cup, for the club championship, won by Harry Kemp with his brother, Frank Kemp as runner-up. The. President's Cup, Medal Play Handicap, was won by Gordon Mc- Knight, with brother Jack Mc- Knight as runner-up. The Gordon Trophy for Juniors also went to Gordon McKnight with Andy Stothart as runner-up. All these winners are from New Lis- keard. The Bagshaw Trophy was pres sented to the winners by Mrs. Dale ton Dean and went to L. Umphrey, runner-up Don Boyd. Consolation was won by Murray Black, runner= up, Jim Michiel . The twelve to fifteen year age group was won by Murray Black, runner-up, Paul Hough. Winners of the Taylor Cup for mixed competition were Rosemary Hutchinson and Chris Murphy, Phyllis Bates and William Walker, all of New Liskeard.
