They also visited Mrs. MecPherson's mother, Mrs. Gallagher in Toronto before returning home. The Past Grands of Grand Camp Daughters of Scotland in Canada from Toronto were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Houghton over the week-end and attended the Grand Camp's installation of Bonnie Doon officers. on Saturday evening and also a friend with them Mrs. Ro- bertson. The three Past Grands were Mrs. M. Collins, Mrs. M. Taylor and Miss I. Black. Mr. and Mrs. from Annapolis, Nova Scotia ar- rived by T.C.A. plane at Mon- treal and spent a two week -holi- day with their son and daughter- in-law, Captain and Mrs. Eric Ben- son at St. Genevieve de Pierrie- fonds, near Montreal en-route to Cobalt and are spending a two weeks vacation with their daughter and son-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. G. Johnston and two daughters, Eri- ca and Leah. Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Armstrong accompanied by Mrs. M. South- all motored to Kirkland Lake and Swastika on Sunday to visit re- latives and to visit Mr. Harvey Simms who is critically ill at his home on Lake Shore, Kirkland Lake. Two Past Grands of Grand Camp D. O. S. Toronto, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Williams over the week-end and attended the Grand Camp Installation of Bonnie Doon Camp D. O. Orr on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Armstrong and family of Englehart accom- panied by Mrs. Armstrong's son, Robert, who has just arrived from Africa and will spend some time visiting his mother and family at Englehart, were visiting relatives in town on Sunday. Mr. Arthur Smith, Toronto, was visiting his daughter-in-law and grand-daugher, Mrs. Eric E. Smith Garnet Benson, and Sally for a few days and has now gone on a visit to Sudbury. *Mr.-and Mrs. Don Thompson, Timmins spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Rowdon. Mrs. B. Mrs. Lawrence Adshead was seeing her mother to the boat who was sailing back to her home in Holland after spend- ing a six month visit in Canada. Mrs. Eric E. Smith"and Mrs. R. Latimore left on Friday even- ing for a few days visit with friends in Toronto and Hamilton. Mr: and Mrs. Cal Taylor have purchased Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Warren's residence, 50 Grandview Avenue and moved there on Fri- day. : Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Bouchard and three children of Timmins and Mr. Jack Ramey of Ottawa visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ramey recently. Mr. Gerald Greensides and Miss Barbara Long of North Bay, visited the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Greensides recently. Mr. E. Solway left for Sault Ste. Marie to visit -his brother, Mr. Phil Solway.
