' Page 4 The Haileyburian Charles Stables The death occurred on Wednes- day, January 21, in Toronto of Charles William Stables, son of Mrs. Stables and the late Sidney Stables. He was born in Cowansville, Quebec, in 1907 and came to Hail- ;eybury with his parents in 1912. Following the death of his father in 1922, the family moved to Tor- onto, where they have remained. Mr. Stables joined the Canadian Industries, Toronto, in 1923 and was employed with them till his 'death. . He leaves to mourn his loss his mother and one sister, Miss Irene Stables. His body was brought to Hailey- "bury Sunday and the funeral ser- vice was held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Anglican Church, with the Rev.- Roy Nixon officiating. In- terment was in Mount Pleasant 'Cemetery. The pall-bearers were: Gordon Davies, Orville Hughes, Elmer Campbell, Roy Johnson, Edward , Johnson and Leonard Johnson.
