All committees gave their annu- al reports. It was interesting to note $475 was spent locally at the schools in the form of prizes and bursaries. Fifty dollars was _ for- warded to the Provincial 'Lucy Morrison Memorial Scholarship Fund', We will remember not so long ago one of our local boys, Jimmie Woods was honored with this award. Our retiring Regent, Mrs. H. Jensen, thanked the members for their co-operation, then called on Mrs. G. L. Cassidy to take the chair for 1959.
