Seeing as your reporter is on shift work makes it rather hard to keep up with events. I know that the dart schedule is go- ing along as planned. I would certainly like to be a regular player myself but can only attend every second Wednesday as a spare. Don't forget, no matter how good a player you are, only paid up members can compete in the finals. Come out and pay your dues please. As you all may know she was a member of the Legion Branch 54 as well as an active member of the Ladies' Auxiliary. In fact she was past president of the Auxiliary on more than one occasion. We of Branch 4. can take an example from her. As well as attending two meetings a month she was an active member of the Curling Club. It seems that we have a hard time to go to one meeting a month. The turnout of members has been im- proving but is still away below par. I would like to say that I was proud of the Legion and the way the funeral services for Comrade Grenon were carried out. The .|turnout of members was terrific, there must have been over fifty members. Com. Pres.' Sid Daley conducted things in a very effi- cient and orderly manner. Congrat- ulations Sid. We had the good fortune of initiating three mem- bers on our regular meeting night Feb. 16, and wish to extend a wel- come tto anyone. yet to be initiated. The executive committee are thinking of holding initiations at every regular meeting for any new members present. Regular meetings are held the third Mon- day of each month.
