One of the most outstanding group performances was 'the Am- erican Precision figure with both Haileybury and New Liskeard Intermediates skating in it. Their colorful red, black and white strip- ed costumes and head bands, with a tall white ostrich feather, added to the enjoyment derived from watching them. Skating in this number were Bonnie Keon, Mar- ielle Breault, Susan Grant, Jackie Neal, Margaret Kenyon, Jean Thompson, Sharon Pettman, Car- ol Bond, Carol Stafford, Janet Camsell, Barbara Camsell, Linda Pherson, Marion Plaunt, Judy Rundle. It is impossible to describe the beauty and colorfulnmess of the many costumes, or to properly commend the work of those who planned and carried out the mak- ing of them. Providing a bit of hilarious en- tertainment, if not accomplished skating ability, were a number of 'native' Hawaiians, in very au- thentic costumes. Their luxuriant growth of hair, falling to their shoulders, provided a disguise of Grozelle, Vicki Gilkes, Karen Mac-| sorts but among the faces recdg- nized were those of Dr. Farlinger, Lomer Lamothe, Stan Milbury, W. Neil 'and several others. At the conclusion of the perfor- mance on Saturday night, presen- tations were made to the guest France receiving 'travel alarm clocks and Mr. Snelling a pen and pencil set. _ Miss Desjardins and Mrs. Blair the Club's professional also re- ceived corsages and a gift of jJew- ellery also went to Mrs. Blair, from the two clubs. Following 'this a reception was held at the home of Mrs. Morgan Fraser' stars, Miss Desjardins and Mr. La-| Be Grant for the guest stars, members assisted at the carnival, "behind the scenes."
