This workshop has come into be- ing because of the growing con- cern for education of children in their physical and emotional de- velopment. Parents want their children to grow up into whole- some and decent teenagers and eventually take their places in life. The Presbytery, realizing many ministers, educators and _ par- ents feel inadequate to give child- ren proper guidance in these mat- ters, has decided that a workshop conducted along these educational lines will be of great assistance to all who have children under their care. The services of two outstanding authorities on the subject have been secured for the Workshop. They are Dr. R. S. Hosking and Dr. W. E. Boothroyd both of Tor- onto. Dr. Boothroyd is a United Church Minister, head of the psy- chiatric department of the Uni- versity of Toronto and a practic- ing psychiatrist, chairman of the United Church Marriage Guidance Council, a member of the Com- mission on Marriage and Divorce and the Temperance Commission.
