The girls practised taking meas- urements and making a matched patch: i Record books aré to be started immediately. Samples of materials and suit- able patterns to be used in the the unit were shown. Miss Phippen will attend the next meeting. which will be held next week at the home of Mrs. Campbell Semple. Neil Logan A resident of Rouyn-Noranda since 1932, Neil' -Logan passed away at the age of 74 years. He died suddenly at Carlson Mines Property, Copper Creek, as the re- sult of a heart seizure. Mr. Logan was born near Lind- ee ee say, Ont., in Eldon Township. At an early age he moved to Cobalt and became interested in*mining. He lived there until 1929, when he married Christiana Brown. and moved to New Liskeard. In 1932 he came to Rouyn-Nor- anda as an active prospector and resided there until his death. Funeral services were held at the Houle Funeral Home in Noranda and Stoddart's Funeral Home at Woodville, Ont.
