William McConnell Celebrates Birthday Mr. William McConnell celebra- ted his 91st birthday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Childs, with whom he makes his home, His birthdate is* December 25th, but the celebration is usually held a few days in advance. Mrs. George Gibbons and Mrs. Albert McChesney, whcse birth- days are on the same date as Mr. McConnell's, were his guests and all enjoyed ia game of cards, plus, a: birthday lunch and cake with candles. Although Mr. McConnell spends a couple of months every summer visiting his daughter, Mrs. Don Mc- Monagle and other relatives in Kingston, he still prefers the cold, bracing air of the north.
