Tory was granted the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the recent commencement of Pur- du University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Tory is presently As- sistant Professor of Chemical En- gineering at McMaster University, Hamilton. Mrs. Tory is the former Audrey Upton, granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Rice. «Mr. and Mrs. Phil Libby, ac- companied by their daughter, Jackie and Mrs. Libby's mother, Mrs. John Dewson were in Toronto over the week-end to attend the . graduation of their daughter, Sheila, at Toronto General Hospi- tal. Also attend- ing was their son Robert of Lon- don, Ont. will be Douglas P. Wall awarded the B.S. degree in geo- logical engineering at Michigan Tech. He was active in the CIMM, the Kingston Flying Club, and last year served as vice president of the student chapter of the Ameri- can Institute of Mining, Metal- lurgical and Petroleum Engineers.
