Constable Bill Culyer said he ar- rested Moncrief after chasing a car with three occupants along sik blocks and forcing it off the road. He said two men fled on foot and that one of them threw a .45- calibre pistol into a 'parked car. At least five shots were fired, one of them penetrating the busy all-night restaurant, but no one was injured. Eddie Saikley, 25, in charge of the restaurant, said four young men started a fight when he lice to expel them. About 20 min- utes later a car sped by and one passenger sprayed the four estab- lishments with bullets. Edward WLuczak, who says his real name is Berger, was sentenc- ed in magistrate's court recently to 10 days for driving while his licence was under suspension and for using a false name to obtain a new licence. Robert Laroeque, 23, and Claude Ducharme, 19, both of Sudbury and charged with attempted robbery, were remanded. "The men knocked me down and threw me under a parked car," Lee said. "Next they dragged me out and when I broke away again they again caught me and threw me in- to the back seat of their car." The victim, employee of a Sud- bury restaurant, said he kicked the car keys out of the driver's hand as he attempted to start the en- gine. A police car drove by at that point and: "I got my head onto the steering wheel. My hands were being held. With my head I blew and blew the horn and the police eruiser heard it and turned around."
