Sunday afternoon, December 3, the French Parent-Teachers As- sociation met in the Holy Cross School for their December meet- ing, and Parents' Day. Mr. L. Charette, school inspector, was guest speaker, and expressed his appreciation to the parents for their co-operation. He asked them to realize. and accept. their -res- ponsibility both to their. children and to the school. He then presented to the princi- pal of the school, Sister Suzanne Marie,' a trophy presented by the French Association of Education in Ontario for the efforts of the pupils-in presenting their savings in connection with the opening of new schools. Following this both French and English parents were invited to the classrooms to receive their children's report cards.
