16 THE LAKE SHORE NEWS, FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 1920 CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH DINNER WEDNESDAY EVE The April Church Night dinner at the Congregational church will be served next Wednesday evening, April 7. It is to be a Leap Year dinner and the success of the evening is assured since Mrs. R. E. Pattison Kline has been chosen "Toastmaster," the first time in the history of these popular "get-together" that a woman has occupied this important place. In addition to the local contribution to the good time, Mr. Charles E. Lutton, baritone, one of the best interpreters of all sorts of folk songs in Chicago, will entertain the diners. He has a good voice and a sense of humor which while keen is at the same time delicate, a brogue which is just right, an enunciation which makes it possible to tell a story in actual words, and a feeling for action and rhythm which gives a gejnuine tilt to everything he pre- feenjljs-. Mr. Lutton can make his audience smile or laugh just as he puts in his work more or less of ' facetious humor. It looks like a jolly evening for all who attend. â€"fa-----faâ€" KOEHLE FUNERAL Funeral services for Mrs. Koehle, 1330 Gregory avenue, were conducted Tuesday, burial was at Calvary.
