Other verse and prose of marked distinction has come from his pen. His "In Memoriam," oc- casioned by the death of President Harding, was published in the Chicago Evening American and, within a week spread to all sections of the country. His many old friends were glad to see him and he seemed very delighted to be m Wilmette again. He is now sta- tioned at St. Raphael's church, 60th and Justine streets, Chicago. At the banquet, Rev. Joseph Lauer- mann, brother of Mrs. Hoffmann, re- quested the poet to write a poem.
