CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS ELECT 1924 OFFICERS Forty-nine candidates were initiated into Ouihnette Court, Catholic Daugh- ters of America at an organization meeting held Suudav, January 27, at Odd Fellows hall, Wilmette. They, together with 33 member* of the order transferring from Newman court, Kvanston, comprise the charter mem- bership. The Ouilmette roster con- sists only of Catholic women living on the north shore, north of Evanston. After ritual work luncheon was served at which Miss Antionette IJi- rong was toustmistress and Mrs. Helen Meagher, state regent, and Rev. F. X. McGuiness were the principal speakers. Men Folks Will Cook a Big Turkey Dinner Turkeys, fresh from one of Ohio's best turkey farms, will crown the fes- tive board" at St. Augustine's Parish House Wednesday evening, February 6, when members of the vestry of the church will serve a complimentary din- ner to the members of the parish. The men will prepare and serve the dinner, affording the women of the parish an opportunity to sit down and "eat through.a rneaj" for a change.
