The trouble about the insane asylum is settled and we are going to be spared.

Mrs. L. S. Malory, who has been sick for some time past, is now much better.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Broadwell and daughter are visiting at the home of Mr. Hubbard Latham

Next Tuesday evening the Wilmette Library and Social Club give a social at the residence of Mrs. [sic] Law.

Mr. Fred Witt lost a very bright litte child the first of the week. All extend their heartfeld sympathy.

Mr. and Mrs. M.[Milton] C. Springer entertained several of their friends Saturday and Monday evenings in a very enjoyable manner.

The third lecture on the course will be delivered next Thursday evening at the Methodist church by Rev. Thomas Perry, D.D.

The Shakespeare club gave a public meeting, Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Law. The program opened with music, followed by ashort recitation. This was followed by a debate on the question: "Resolved, that Richard III, as portrayed by Shakespeare, is a more perfect delineation of a villan than Iago." After a close debate it was decided in favor of the negative.
