- Emil (Jack) Nord, 65, of 2435 Birchwood lane, Wilmette, died at his home on Sunday, May 9 [1948]. Born in Stockholm, Sweden. Burial was at Memorial Park cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha Nord; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Meinshausen of Des Plaines; one son, Robert Nord of Blue Island; four grandchildren; his parents, Augusta and Emil Nord of Stockholm; four sisters, Elsa, Ruth, and Anna of Sweden, and Elizabeth of Chicago; and three brothers, Nels of Sweden, David of Wilmette and Ernest Nord of Evanston.
