At the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. Bremner Peck, 855 Willow road, Winnetka, Mrs. Lucy Mercer Billingslea died last Saturday after noon. Mrs. Billingslea was born October 17, 1870. Her father, the late Rev. L. P. Mercer, was a well-known Chicago minister. For the funeral, a son, Lewis M. Billingslea of Bronxville, N. Y. was present. A daughter, Mrs. Chalmer McWilliams of Hollywood, Calif. was here, also. She had been a guest at the Peck residence at the time of Mrs. Billingslea’s death. Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. A. H. Billingslea of New York, and Mrs. Charles G. Smith of Washington, D. C., a son, William L. Cluff and a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Kircher, both of Hollywood, as well as Mrs. Peck, Mr. Billingslea and Mrs. McWilliams. She was the widow of the late Edward Levine Billingslea.
