- Martha Hamm Butler of 1630 Sheridan Rd. in Wilmette died at her home June 16. Mrs. Butler, 72, was the widow of Rush C. Butler Jr. who died in 1964. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Blair B. Bellis of New Vernon, N.J., and Judith B. Knutson of Vero Beach, Fla.; a brother, Edward F. Hamm Jr. of Washington D.C.; a sister, Harriet Stevens of Northfield; and five grandchildren.
