The mansion of Antoin "Tony" Rezko, 1250 Chestnut Avenue in Wilmette, was sold at auction to the bank holding the mortgage, Bank of America, after it went into foreclosure. Rezko was convicted in July 2008 of money laundering, fraud and bribery connected to state development deals.
