- There will be early dismissal at noon Aug. 28.
Photographers from Lifetouch will take student's pictures during regular school hours Sept. 2.
The junior high school forum will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 in the Xavier Room.
There will be no school on Sept. 7 in honor of Labor Day.
The Home School Organization is teaming up with Innisbrook Wraps for a fund-raiser, the Gift Wrap Sale. Contact Anne Lundberg or Susan Malloy.

Hot and cold daily lunches have arrived. Lunch will be served to all participating students beginning Sept. 8 by Chef Fredy Cuisine. For information about the new lunch program call the school office or contact Home School Organization Lunch Program volunteer chairs Kristan Kelly or Kim Langill
"Showcase St. Francis" will be held Oct. 3.
People are asked to save all of their newspapers, catalogues, magazines and junk mail and drop them off in the school's recycling bin located in the school parking lot.
The school continues to participate in the Box Tops for Education fund-raiser.
St. Francis Xavier's "Moms and Tots" play time will return from 9-11 a.m. Sept. 11 at Maple Park (weather permitting) for their first informal get-together of the new school year. The program meets every other Friday, September through May. Anyone interested in joining the "Moms and Tots" e-mail list may contact Home School Organization "Moms and Tots" 2009-2010 co-chairs Joanne Teuber or Colleen Vitu
St. Francis Xavier School and Parish will feature its Children's Choir programs again this academic year under the instruction of Sarah Smith.
The "New Family Dinner" will be held at p.m. Sept. 11; "Back to School" dinner will be held Sept. 17; Preschool Parents' Party will be held Sept. 19; and the annual "Parish Life Fair and Fun Run" with breakfast and Mass will be held Sept. 20. - Date of Publication
