- Frederick M. Murphy has purchased from Robert L. L. Eldridge a business and apartment property at the corner of Hinman Ave. and Main St. in Evanston. It is supposed that he paid $50,000. He was represented by Rosenberg & Reninger. Eldridge was represented by Murcock, James & Co. Murphy will improve the property facing Main St. by bulding a three-story building containing stores, offices and apartments. He will construct a 36 apartment building facing Hinman Ave. This is considered to be one of the best unimproved business corners on the north shore.
