- Cora L. Byall of Evanston appeared before the Board of Review yesterday to appeal a $10,000 property tax. She said she could not afford it. She felt that someone conspired against her. Reviewer Thomas J. Webb tried to find out from her who this was and he assured her she would not be jailed for failing to pay the tax.
