- Winnetka Village Board meeting held Tuesday evening included requests by E. W. Burlingham, acting chairman of the Citizens' association and Herman Lunsman who wants permission to build on Elm Street. The board took under consideration the advisability of sending Dr. C. O. Schneider, village health commissioner, to the Congress of Health Officers. An ordinance against loud mufflers was passed and the Hubbard Woods fire department got 2 new pairs of rubber boots and two new rubber coats.
