Mrs. Aura Lathrop Fouts, 530 Greenleaf avenue, is shown as she was pictured on her one hundredth birthday. Last week Mrs. Fouts celebrated her one-hundred-first anniversary, and is already looking forward to her next year's birthday party.

Keeps Her Promise and Gives Party on 101st Birthday
At her one-hundredth birthday anniversary last year, Mrs. Aura Lathrop Fouts promised friends and relatives that she would entertain them again at a party the following year. Her prophecy came true last Sunday, when relatives came to honor her at her one-hundred-first birthday celebration.
There were not many out-of-town guests present, but many people came from the vicinity. Her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Fouts, with whom she lives at 530 Greenleaf avenue, and her granddaughter and great-grandson, Mrs. H. H. Gary and George Edwin Gary, of Wilmette, were also present. Other relatives came from Rogers Park for the occasion.
Mrs. Fouts, who was born in Windsor, Ohio, August 13, 1838, is probably the oldest resident, in point of age, in Wilmette. She has been here 28 years. She is in excellent health, and told her guests Sunday night that she hoped she would be running around for another year, so that she could have another birthday party.
