Looking back, I recognize that Hal was one of the best Executive Directors that ever served any organization. In 1978-79, he brought in professional help to establish our mission statement, vision and objectives. Then his management by those objectives propelled the Academy Of General Dentistry [AGD] and are still used today. His staff was very loyal and driven which is a true testament to his leadership. Presidents come and go-yes,they can have a short impact-but it has been Hal's steady hand at the wheel for so many years that has made the AGD a highly respected organization. And his wife, Rosemary, has certainly been an ideal helpmate. John E.Regan,DDS,MAGD,LLSR,FACD Past AGD President, 1980-81.
