- John M. Madden, 69, died at his home in Wilmette on July 5. He was buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Northbrook. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diana; and seven children: Anne (Geoff) Gummersall of Wilmette, Katheryn (David) Harvey of Glenview, John M. (Holly) Madden Jr., of Wilmette, Diana (Peter) Adams of Deerfield, Bill (Lynne) Madden of Glenview, Nancy (Douglas) Zalesky of Wilmette and Michael Finley Madden of Wilmette. He was grandfather of Kayanne, Ginny, Gwen, Glory, David, Johnny, Mary, Tommy, Amy, Katheryn, Melissa Christa, John III, Carrie, Laura, Petie, Faith, Mikey, Jacquelyn and Danny.
