- James H. Labadie, 63, died March 10 in Evanston Hospital. He was born in Ottawa, Ohio. He was founder of the New Trier Federal Credit Union, which is now on Green Bay Rd. in Kenilworth, and served as the credit union's treasurer for 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Marc A and Matthew L., both of Portland , Ore.; two grandchildren; and a brother, William of Carson City, Nev.
