- Mortimer J. Joyce, 86, died July 9, at his home in Lincolnshire. Born July 26, 1915 in Chicago, and former resident of Wilmette. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (née Fitzgerald) in 1994. Survived by his children, Annamae (Peter) LePorin of Seacliffe, Long Island, Ronnie (Dennis) Mudd of Libertyville, Norene (Gene) O'Brien of Libertyville, Mortimer John (Melinda) Joyce of San Francisco, Mary Patricia (Robert) Miller of Glen Cove, Long Island, Joseph M. (Mary) Joyce of Wilmette and Vickie (Jim) Ahern of Northfield; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Eleanor McWayne of Wilmette
