- Thomas Joseph Byrne died May 24 in Charleston, S.C. He was 84. Mr. Byrne was born in Chicago. In 1930, Mr. Byrne married his wife, Katherine, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Kathleen Mandry of Winnetka and his grandchildren, Margarete and Antonia Mandry. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
