Mrs. Mary E. Springer, charter member of the Wilmette Parish Methodist church and of the Woman's club of Wilmette, was taken by death Saturday, July 30, at the advanced age of 82 years. She was a resident of the north shore for 55 years and was especially active in church work. Bishop Edwin H. Hughes of Wilmette and Dr. Horace G. Smith, pastor of the Wilmette Parish Methodist church conducted the funeral services on Tuesday.
