Jacob J. Brumbaugh, 74 years old, died suddenly last Thursday at the home of his son, John Brumbaugh, 1612 Lake avenue, with whom he had lived for the last eleven years. Besides the son, two daughters, Mrs. George Doke and Mrs. Clarence Rohrer, both of Oak Park, and nine grandchildren survive him. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence in Wilmette. The remains were taken to Elkhart, Ind., Mr. Brumbaugh's former home, where a Masonic service was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial was at Elkhart.
